We are delighted to announce the opening of our second space in Mexico City. This new space, located at Alumnos 14-C in San Miguel Chapultepec, marks the next chapter in the gallery’s development. Situated in one of the city’s most historically significant cultural neighborhoods, the location provides an expanded framework for exhibition making, collaboration, and artistic production.
The gallery now operating as Lodos, San Miguel Chapultepec and Lodos, Colonia Juárez will run concurrently across both locations. The expansion reflects the gallery’s ongoing commitment to supporting its artists through the sustained development of their practices, while strengthening the gallery’s engagement with local and international art communities. The two locations will enable us to expand our program and accommodate further experimental and collaborative efforts.
Lodos, San Miguel Chapultepec will occupy a ground floor space and will be designed in collaboration with gallery artist Ramón Saturnino @24.11.99.00 and servicios de investigación y desarrollo @_s___id . It is set to open in early 2026.
Founded in 2013 by Francisco Cordero-Oceguera as a project space, Lodos has represented local and international artists since 2016. The gallery maintains an international program with a focus on conceptual practices, experimental exhibition formats, and new modes of production.
