Alvarez Chida Gallery is a contemporary art gallery presenting exhibitions by emerging and established artists in cities around the world. Operating without a permanent physical location, the gallery stages shows in collaboration with institutions, project spaces, and distinctive venues, allowing each presentation to respond directly to its context. This itinerant approach expands the reach of the gallery’s program, fostering dialogue between artists and audiences across geographic and cultural boundaries.
Founded in 2025 by Fernando Alvarez Chida, an art dealer with access to a global network of collectors, the gallery inaugurates its program with Too Young To Hold On, a solo exhibition by Zach Zono in Mexico City. Building on years of experience in the art market, Alvarez Chida now moves into the gallery space while continuing to manage sales directly with collectors, offering a personalized and focused approach to acquisitions.
In addition to its exhibition program, Alvarez Chida Gallery will participate in select international art fairs, publish catalogues, and develop special projects that extend beyond the traditional gallery format.
