Emotions | LAAF Open Call

We invite artists to participate in the Second Edition of the international competition (Lodz Abstract Art Festival) LAAF. This year’s edition is accepting projects related to emotions and sensations.

Competition Theme: Emotions in Abstraction
The aim of the competition is to select works that express or evoke emotions through form, expression, or composition. The competition focuses on abstract art, where emotions serve as the primary carrier of meaning.

Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to artists working in abstract art. Submissions are accepted in three categories: flat projects, spatial projects, and time-based projects. The competition is directed at students and graduates of art schools, as well as legal adults without a diploma who are actively involved in the art world.

Exhibition Details:

Number of Winners: 18 artists, announcement between February 1–15, 2026
Exhibition Date: April 17, 2026, at Off Piotrkowska, Łódź, Poland
Prizes: Participation in the exhibition, presentation of works in an album, participation in a series of webinars, a reward of 1000 PLN.
Submission deadline: October 31, 2025
