Dr. Ethan Lustig
Dr. Ethan Lustig is a music expert (Ph.D. in Music Theory, Eastman School of Music), professional composer, producer, and audio engineer based in Mexico City.
His past musical experience ranges from DJing in raves and clubs, to playing keyboard and drums in jazz and rock groups, to classical piano in church services, to scoring films, to custom pop, hip-hop, and EDM production for film & TV.
Dr. Lustig also works as an expert witness (“forensic musicologist”) in major music copyright cases, with his work featured in Rolling Stone, Stereogum, and more.
He currently teaches at UNAM’s Faculty of Music and Anáhuac University, as well as working with private students through individual and group sessions (Zoom and IRL). Amores
José Amores. Born August 5th, 1998, in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas; the land of the Jaguar Warriors. He lived there until the age of 18 before moving to México City on a college football scholarship. His first approach to music came via his father, José Luis Amores Velázquez, cultivating his music taste and opening the door for its own path via music. Later his older siblings guided him too in this search by providing good music, you know, good music.
Just before turning 18 he decided to left home, with uncertainty and excitement about his new destiny . He had no idea what was about to happen. This decision changed his surroundings completely, making him grow and evolve in the city. He graduated as a student-athlete and at the same time developed his own musical styles by spending his free time improvising, self producing beats, sets, writing and exchanging bars.
His approach to this has always been the same, faith, hard work and never letting aside the craving of making something extraordinary with his life.
In 2023, he presents his first album “Goodfella” in which he´s been working since 2020. This album is a collaboration from his independent label “Multidisciplinario”, which he founded with local artists Gallo and Dreamspell, and StudiOz Records label that provided a place for him to master and produce the tracks he had been working on for this album.
