Community Guidelines

Community guidelines on mesh

Welcome to mesh. Our purpose is to build a digital ecosystem where creativity, culture and people connect freely, safely and respectfully.

Effective date: May 2025 Contact: richie@themesh.art Status: soft launch

1. Welcome to mesh

These Community Guidelines explain the values that guide mesh and what we expect from everyone who participates on the platform.

mesh is a community, not a marketplace. Kindness, respect and creativity guide everything we do.

2. Our values

  • We celebrate creativity in all its forms.
  • We foster inclusion, diversity and respect toward all people.
  • We protect the safety and dignity of our community.
  • We take responsibility for keeping mesh a safe and inspiring space.

3. What we expect from you

  • Be kind and respectful in all your interactions.
  • Share authentic cultural experiences that add value to the community.
  • Protect people's privacy and rights.
  • Participate ethically and responsibly.
  • Help us report any inappropriate behavior.

4. Prohibited content and activities

On mesh it is not allowed to post or promote:

  • Explicit sexual content or adult services.
  • Animal abuse, cruelty or exploitation.
  • Irresponsible or illegal promotion of cannabis or other regulated substances.
  • Violations of the rights or safety of minors.
  • Harassment, intimidation, bullying or stalking.
  • Hate speech, violence, discrimination or incitement to harm.
  • Human trafficking or exploitation of individuals.
  • Illegal activities or content.
  • Actions that compromise the security or integrity of the platform (hacking, phishing, spam, malware).
  • Harmful misinformation: deliberately false content intended to defraud, impersonate, incite violence or cause real harm.
  • False or misleading advertising of events or services (made-up dates, fake venues, deceptively hidden prices).
  • Privacy violations or unauthorized disclosure of personal data.
  • Raffles, giveaways or contests that are unauthorized or not legally regulated.
  • Promotion of fraudulent or deceptive business practices.
  • Sale, promotion or distribution of weapons or explosives.
  • Impersonation (posing as an institution, artist or project without authorization).

👉 This list is not exhaustive. mesh reserves the right to remove content it considers contrary to the spirit of the community or that may put its users at risk.

5. Promotion, links and spam

mesh is not a marketplace. You can share events, workshops, open calls and cultural activities, but we expect you to do so with judgment and respect.

  • Do not post the same thing repeatedly (spam).
  • Do not use misleading messages ("last spots" when it is not true, fake links, cloned accounts).
  • If you are promoting something, be clear: what it is, who organizes it, where, when and how to take part.
  • If you include links, they must be relevant and safe.

6. Privacy, authorship and rights

  • Do not post third parties' personal data without their consent (phone numbers, addresses, emails, documents).
  • Respect authorship: do not upload images, texts or materials you do not have the right to use.
  • If you share third-party material, try to include attribution and source when possible.

If you find content that infringes copyright or privacy, report it so we can review it.

7. What happens if you do not follow these guidelines?

Depending on the severity and recurrence, we may apply:

  • A warning (for a minor violation).
  • Removal of the content.
  • Temporary account suspension.
  • Permanent account removal (serious or repeated violations).

In serious cases (for example, fraud, violence, exploitation, risk to minors or security), suspension or removal may occur without prior notice.

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you can appeal by writing to: richie@themesh.art

How to report

So we can act faster, include:

  • Link or name of the profile / event / post.
  • Screenshot (if applicable).
  • A brief explanation of the problem (why you think it violates these guidelines).
  • Your contact email (in case we need more context).

8. mesh is an evolving platform

mesh is currently in its soft launch phase. These guidelines may be adjusted and evolve as the community grows and new features are developed.

We invite you to review this section regularly to stay up to date.
