We’re excited to announce the opening of PENUMBRA, a solo exhibition by @abelzavalaescultura, opening on February 3 during Mexico City Art Week.

PENUMBRA marks an important moment in the artist’s practice. Known for his ceramic work, Zavala presents a brand-new body of pieces that expands his investigation of material, surface, and perception — bringing together ceramic sculpture and, for the first time, painting. The exhibition unfolds through ideas of light and shadow, presence and transition, inviting viewers to experience the work slowly and attentively.
