Una exposición de Catherine Mulligan y Philip Hinge. Tomando su nombre de ese extraño y emblemático rincón de Nueva Jersey donde crecieron ambos artistas, la muestra reúne las inquietantes pinturas al óleo de Mulligan —con figuras hiperfemeninas y paisajes arquitectónicos en ruinas— junto con las exploraciones lúdicas pero incisivas de Hinge sobre la pintura, la identidad y la imagen del gato a través de distintos elementos de la cultura contemporánea.

An exhibition by Catherine Mulligan and Philip Hinge. Taking its name from that strange and iconic corner of New Jersey where both artists grew up, the show brings together Mulligan’s haunting oil paintings – featuring hyper-feminine figures and crumbling architectural landscapes – alongside Hinge’s playful yet incisive explorations of painting, identity and the image of the cat through different elements of contemporary culture.
