Martinat’s practice explores the intricate intersection of technology, politics, and human existence, examining how machines, objects, and systems shape culture. Through his work, he transforms everyday artifacts into profound, multifaceted commentaries on social structures and the essence of being. His pieces are held in major collections, including Tate, MoMA, Guggenheim, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago, MALBA, Saatchi, MALI, and more.
For his Mexico City solo debut, Martinat presents a new body of work that delves into the deep relationship between natural elements and their transformative effects on both the physical and spiritual realms, explored through his distinctive creative process.
