La resistencia del lenguaje y la morfología del habla son dos características presentes en toda la obra de Teresa Solar Abboud (Madrid, 1985). Sus instalaciones escultóricas se han ido complejizando en años recientes a través de formas relacionadas con la resistencia, la oquedad, el cuerpo o la estructura ósea. Si en un primer momento la artista partía del dibujo y el vídeo como herramientas fundamentales de trabajo, hoy en día su producción se ha centrado en la práctica de la escultura y los nuevos materiales, articulando un despliegue de formas que retoman elementos emparentados con lo orgánico y conducen a metáforas relacionadas con flujos de corrientes, vacíos y la conectividad entre orificios y huecos.

The resistance of language and the morphology of speech are two characteristics of the work of Teresa Solar Abboud (Madrid, 1985). Her sculptural installations have become, in recent years, complex forms related to resistance, hollowness, the body and bone structure. The artist began using drawing and video as her fundamental work tools, but over time her production has come to focus on sculpture, exploring new materials with which she articulates forms that refer to elements related to the organic and lead to metaphors of the flow of currents, voids and the connectivity between orifices and gaps.
