The series reflects on transformation as a metaphor for creation, shaping materials into works that recall the bones of ancient inhabitants of the earth. Marinelli, a New York–based designer whose work dissolves the boundaries between art and design, has long collaborated with artisans around the world to create sculptural, functional objects.
