This week marks the opening of ‘Obra estampa. Los originales múltiples de Pedro Friedeberg’ at the Museo de la Ciudad de Querétaro.
The exhibition offers an in-depth review of Friedeberg’s printmaking practice—featuring engraving, silkscreen, and digital graphics—conceived as original multiples: works produced in carefully crafted limited editions, allowing them to be experienced in more than one place at a time.
This significant body of work, studied and documented in the 2018 catalogue raisonné ‘Original Múltiple. Obra estampa de Pedro Friedeberg’, has become inseparably linked to the artist’s name, filling a key chapter in the history of printmaking in Mexico.
