PALMA se complace en anunciar la última exposición del programa del 2025, una muestra del trabajo de Ismael Sentíes (Ciudad de México, México 1992) titulada ‘Donde habita lo salvaje’.

Como Monet frente a la catedral de Rouen, Ismael Senties no pinta para representar el mundo, sino para perderse en él. Su gesto pictórico transforma la materia en emoción, el trazo en introspección. En su obra, las formas vegetales y nubosas parecen respirar, volverse animales, revelando la pintura como un ejercicio de domesticación simbólica. Lo salvaje no es lo exterior, sino aquello que se agita dentro y busca hacerse visible. – Dorothée Dupuis (@badassfeminist)

PALMA is pleased to announce the final exhibition of its 2025 program, a solo presentation by Ismael Sentíes (Mexico City, Mexico, 1992) titled ‘Where the Wild Dwells’.

Like Monet before the cathedral of Rouen, Ismael Sentíes does not paint to represent the world but to lose himself within it. His painterly gesture transforms matter into emotion, stroke into introspection. In his work, vegetal and cloudlike forms seem to breathe, to become animal, revealing painting as an exercise in symbolic domestication. The wild is not what lies outside, but that which stirs within and seeks to make itself visible. – Dorothée Dupuis (@badassfeminist)
