We are pleased to announce 𝘔𝘪𝘥𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘚𝘦𝘢 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 : a solo exhibition by Loup Sarion, opening on Monday February 2nd, from 5-8pm.

The exhibition title refers to a suspended moment of night when time seems to dissolve, an intense state of presence in which life feels fully lived. Through a wide range of materials (leather, resin, glass, mirror, concrete, bronze, water, and aluminum) the works move between extreme softness and rough, crumbling textures. These surfaces echo a sensitivity to skin, touch, and exposure.

Loup Sarion lives and works in New York. His work has been presented internationally, including exhibitions at Berthold Pott Gallery, Cologne; M+B, Los Angeles; MAC/VAL Museum, Vitry-sur-Seine; Clearing, New York; Kunstverein, Heppenheim.

La exposición alude a un momento nocturno suspendido, en el que el tiempo parece disolverse: un estado intenso de presencia en el que la vida se siente plenamente vivida. A través de una amplia gama de materiales (cuero, resina, vidrio, espejo, hormigón, bronce, agua y aluminio), las obras se mueven entre una suavidad extrema y texturas ásperas y desmoronadas. Estas superficies evocan una sensibilidad hacia la piel, el tacto y la exposición.

Loup Sarion vive y trabaja en Nueva York. Su obra ha sido presentada internacionalmente, con exposiciones en Berthold Pott Gallery, Colonia; M+B, Los Ángeles; MAC/VAL Museo, Vitry-sur-Seine; Clearing, Nueva York; y Kunstverein, Heppenheim.
