La Chola Poblete es una artista transdisciplinar que trabaja con performance, videoarte, fotografía, pintura y objetos: a través de un sofisticado imaginario queer, recupera conocimientos ancestrales de los territorios sudamericanos.
Sus acuarelas a gran escala exhiben la fluidez derivada de su identidad. Una avalancha de seres híbridos convive con motivos abstractos, religiosos y pop, entre los que se incluyen pequeñas reproducciones de sus obras, como máscaras de pan. Vírgenes con trenzas, espadas cortando patatas y formas orgánicas adornadas con penes resuenan como cantos de resistencia.

La Chola Poblete is a transdisciplinary artist who works with performance, video art, photography, painting, and objects: through a sophisticated queer imagery, she recovers ancestral knowledge from the South American territories.
Her large-scale watercolours exhibit the fluidity derived from her identity. A flood of hybrid beings coexist with abstract, religious, and pop motifs, among which small reproductions of her works, such as bread masks, are included. Virgins with braids, swords slicing potatoes, and organic forms adorned with penises resonate like songs of resistance.
