Rusudan Khizanishvili – Sacrificial Rites

In November 2025, CAM Galería will present the first solo show in Mexico and Latin America by Georgian artist Rusudan Khizanishvili, a key figure in the new wave of international figurative painting. Curated by Nina Chkareuli, the exhibition engages in dialogue with three works by Chucho Reyes, introducing her practice into the Mexican context through a historical and spiritual lens.
The project marks a moment of expansion for the artist in Latin America and precedes her participation in Zona MACO 2026. It opens a unique conversation between Khizanishvili’s personal mythology and Mexico’s vibrant chromatic tradition, reaffirming the global relevance of painting as a transformative language.
