Juan Glassford

Juan Glassford (1998) is a photographer based in Mexico City, Mexico. He was awarded the International Center of Photography (ICP) Director’s Fellowship in 2019, received a portfolio review at Magnum Photos trough Magnum Learn in 2021, and has since graduated the Photography Program at Bard College with a concentration in Human Rights and joined VII Academy (VII Photos).

Glassford received the 2023 Mary Ellen Mark Award through La Luz Workshops, Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb (Magnum Photos), Denise Wolff (Aperture), and Centro Fotográfico Manuel Alvarez Bravo (CFMAB) in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Current projects in the regions of Mexico, Southern Texas, and New York State are underway.
