_____________________________________
Art in the Making is the core of Work in Progress. The project focuses on artistic process rather than finished outcomes, inviting audiences to experience work while it is still forming.

Work in Progress brings together artists, curators, and audiences for a week-long exploration of how art is made. By shifting attention away from polished exhibitions and toward process, WIP aims to make contemporary art more accessible, transparent, and human. The project supports artists by offering time, visibility, and engaged audiences, while inviting the public to witness creativity as it unfolds.

We are a curatorial platform based in Los Angeles, developing projects across different cities and cultural contexts. As our work moves internationally, we collaborate closely with local artists and teams on the ground, allowing each project to take shape through its specific place. This approach helps us build work that feels grounded, sincere, and attentive to the local voices and nuances that matter most.

Work In Progress is an interactive art festival dedicated to the act of creation from Feb 1 – 8, 2026 in Mexico City.
