Founded in 2019 by Bernardo Saenger, SAENGER Galer\u00eda is a contemporary art space located in the historical neighborhood of Tacubaya in Mexico City.<\/p>\r\n


Focused on the promotion of emerging to consolidated artists within Mexico and abroad, Saenger Galer\u00eda positions itself as an open space that stimulates and explores diversity, fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere to promote the advancement of art in Mexico. With an area of 1,200 m2, the gallery\u2019s venue houses two exhibition spaces divided into a Main Room and a Project Room, where proposals are presented by both represented and invited artists.

Amongst the gallery\u2019s most notable exhibitions stands out,\u00a0Cronograf\u00edas negras<\/em><\/a>, Iv\u00e1n Trueta, 2024;\u00a0Scent of Time: Horizontes Temporales<\/em><\/a>, Yoab Vera at Casa Gilardi, 2024;\u00a0This, that & the Other<\/em><\/a>, Scott Reeder, 2023;\u00a0Sentir Desierto<\/em><\/a>, Cecilia Barreto, 2023;\u00a0Robert Janitz at Anahuacalli<\/em><\/a>, Anahuacalli Museum, 2022;\u00a0Terapia de Color<\/em><\/a>, Mark Hagen, 2022. The gallery has published, Javier Pel\u00e1ez:\u00a0High Performance<\/em>, 2020;\u00a0Robert Janitz Best of All Worlds<\/em>, 2022; and\u00a0Robert Janitz at the Anahuacalli<\/em>\u00a0(Canada, SAENGER Galer\u00eda, Sevil Dolmaci, 2023), amongst others.

<\/p>\r\n

Inquiring into pictorial language and material experimentation, from the tradition of two-dimensionality to exploration in volume; the gallery\u2019s program has progressively expanded to encompass other media and narratives, which incorporate a greater conceptual and critical density.

<\/p>\r\n

The gallery advances in its mission through a solid program that includes, institutional collaborations, the publication of art books and limited edition of graphic works through its publishing arm, Saenger Editores; a public program and a program of international art fairs in Mexico, the United States and Asia, aiming towards Europe.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
