Edificio que albergaba el Palacio Marquesal de San Clemente. Construido en 1753 por D. Francisco Mat\u00edas de Busto y Moya, primer Marqu\u00e9s de San Clemente. En 1831, por medio de un decreto promulgado por el Congreso del Estado, el edificio fue declarado Sede del Congreso, del Poder Judicial, del Consejo de Gobierno, de la Contadur\u00eda General y de la de Diezmos, del Ayuntamiento y de la Secretar\u00eda.<\/p>\n
Este edificio fue demolido en 1897, y por iniciativa del gobernador Manuel G\u00f3mez de Linares, se inici\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n de lo que hoy conocemos como el Palacio de los Poderes. Los trabajos de reacondicionamiento fueron dirigidos por el arquitecto ingl\u00e9s Cecilio Luis Long, a quien se comision\u00f3 para construir lo que ser\u00eda la nueva sede de los Poderes Ejecutivo, Legislativo y Judicial de Guanajuato.<\/p>\n
Fue la XX Legislatura, el 27 de octubre de 1903, la que inaugur\u00f3 de manera oficial el recinto. Pero fue en 2017 cuando se inaugur\u00f3 el Museo Palacio de los Poderes.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
