All&nbsp;recordings&nbsp;will be available to students for 3 months after the final session, after 3 months the&nbsp;recording&nbsp;will be deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please check your email spam\/junk folder for your Zoom invite.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most satisfying and enjoyable activities for me is being out in nature, but taking photographs and memories back to the studio and creating dynamic paintings is often a challenge. This 4-week course will focus on finding a new way of interpreting your experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Design, colour and mark making exercises will help build a new way of seeing your world and translated it into your work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Outline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Week 1 &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exploring the world of landscape and photography through exercises in value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Week 2 &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expanding mark making and composition through collage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Week 3 &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colour theory and developing a palette that works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Week 4 &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating a painting utilizing week 1 to 3 theory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Materials List<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>18 x 24 drawing pad.Heavy weight<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Watercolour paper pad. Recommendation 140 # smooth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Piece of compressed charcoal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glue stick<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exacto knife<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 set of Nupastals or equivalent<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Caran D\u2019ach water soluble crayons or equivalent<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selection of round and flat brushes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pallete knife<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selection of acrylic paint: Titanium white, Carbon Black, Prussian Blue or Pthalo Blue, Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Yellow Ochre, Transparent Red Oxide, Transparent Yellow Oxide, Cadmium Red Light, Alizarin Crimson or Magenta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Container of CLEAR gesso.
