Topolog\u00edas del Cuidado\u00a0<\/em>brings together a selection of works by Geles Cabrera, Maruch Sant\u00edz Go\u0301mez and Candida Ho\u0308fer to reflect on sensitive and critical forms of care\u2014towards the body, memory, space, and displaced forms of knowledge.<\/p>\n

Through diverse formal languages\u2014sculpture, photography, assemblage\u2014the artists interrogate structures of power and ideas around visibility, exclusion, and representation from distinct positions.
\nCabrera\u00a0<\/strong>approaches the female body with a sculptural language that is intimate and modern; her approach to form is lyrical, and the moments and postures she sculpts evoke closeness and sensuality.\u00a0Sant\u00edz Go\u0301mez\u00a0<\/strong>photographs objects, gestures, and symbols from within her Tzotzil identity, restoring agency, beauty, joy, and pride to the everyday practices of her community.\u00a0Ho\u0308fer\u00a0<\/strong>photographs empty institutional spaces with a precision that reveals the power structures that have historically determined who is authorized to inhabit visibility.<\/p>\n
