De autores de obras maestras para el arte occidental, que brillaron entre los siglos XIII y XIX, se han reunido las m\u00e1s sobresalientes escuelas europeas: la flamenca, la espa\u00f1ola, la germana, la italiana y la francesa, puestas en di\u00e1logo a trav\u00e9s de sus influencias y car\u00e1cter propio en nuestros Antiguos Maestros Novohispanos.<\/p>\n

Diversos temas fueron constantes en su producci\u00f3n religiosa: representaciones de la historia sagrada, escenas marianas y cristol\u00f3gicas, alegor\u00edas y pasajes de santos. Por otro lado, el g\u00e9nero de retrato y la vida cotidiana, con portentosos ejemplos, todos de impecable maestr\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Grandes pintores y artistas an\u00f3nimos, quienes constituyen una reuni\u00f3n excepcional en \u00abjuego de espejo\u00bb entre las realidades europea y novohispana con obras que perduran en nuestra emoci\u00f3n.
