La primera parte incluye obras de compositores como Antonio Caldara y Giovanni Battista Bononcini, ambos activos a finales del siglo XVII y principios del XVIII, quienes fueron figuras clave en el desarrollo de la \u00f3pera italiana. De igual manera figura Christoph Willibald Gluck, compositor alem\u00e1n reconocido por \u00f3peras como\u00a0<em>Paride ed Elena<\/em>, de la cual se incluye el aria\u00a0<em>O del mio dolce ardor<\/em>. De Giovanni Paisiello, representante de la \u00f3pera bufa del siglo XVIII, se interpretar\u00e1 una selecci\u00f3n de\u00a0<em>La molinara<\/em>, estrenada en 1788. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart se\u00f1ala un cambio en el lenguaje oper\u00edstico cl\u00e1sico, ejemplificado en este concierto con un aria de la\u00a0<em>Las bodas de F\u00edgaro<\/em>. Giuseppe Verdi, exponente del Romanticismo italiano, est\u00e1 presente con un aria de\u00a0<em>Il corsaro<\/em>. De Jules Massenet se ofrece un fragmento de\u00a0<em>Tha\u00efs<\/em>, obra que fuera estrenada en 1894, basada en la novela hom\u00f3nima de Anatole France, que a su vez se inspira en la vida de Santa Tha\u00efs, una cortesana egipcia del siglo IV que se convirti\u00f3 al cristianismo. Despu\u00e9s del intermedio se brinda un espacio a la zarzuela y la canci\u00f3n hispana con ejemplos de Federico Moreno Torroba y Ruperto Chap\u00ed, adem\u00e1s de\u00a0<em>Mar\u00eda la O<\/em>\u00a0de Ernesto Lecuona, representativa del repertorio cubano. Tambi\u00e9n se ofrecen\u00a0<em>Lieder<\/em>\u00a0y canciones de concierto de Richard Strauss, Gabriel Faur\u00e9 y Francesco Paolo Tosti, y concluye con\u00a0<em>Estrellita<\/em>\u00a0de Manuel M.
