A trav\u00e9s de una pr\u00e1ctica a menudo subversiva e informal, Marcelo Cicade cuestiona los ideales de la arquitectura modernista, se apropia de los espacios urbanos y, mediante diversas operaciones est\u00e9ticas, inventa nuevos lenguajes, construyendo espacios frescos y sorprendentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El v\u00ednculo \u00edntimo que, para Cidade, une el arte y la vida autoriza al artista a explorar el flujo continuo y oscilante entre la esfera social y la personal. Comparando relaciones y valores sociales establecidos, Cidade crea obras que expresan conflictos sociales complejos y lleva se\u00f1ales y situaciones de la calle a espacios art\u00edsticos. La obra del artista enfatiza el encuentro entre arte y sociedad, sin dejar de lado la discusi\u00f3n sobre el lenguaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Uno de los intereses de Cidade es el espacio p\u00fablico generado en el flujo urbano y tecnol\u00f3gico de la sociedad de vigilancia. La ciudad es el lugar privilegiado de los acontecimientos, y es aqu\u00ed donde el artista busca sus materiales de trabajo. Calles, muros, pasos elevados, plazas, y contraventanas son un desaf\u00edo para su mirada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
