Tomando como punto de partida abstracciones del territorio, cartas de navegaci\u00f3n medievales, verdades coloniales, islas oce\u00e1nicas y continentales, la artista y cineasta Sumie Garc\u00eda nos lanza una provocaci\u00f3n: \u00bfc\u00f3mo comenzar a buscar una isla que no existe? \u00bfc\u00f3mo representar un territorio fantasma? A trav\u00e9s de ejercicios fotogr\u00e1ficos con bordados, v\u00eddeo e imagen fija, la artista constata una y otra vez que los mapas, si acaso cuentan con alguna certeza, es que no hay tal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
